Memorial Graveside Services For Lola Mae Paulsen, age 92, of Winside, Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Norfolk, Saturday 2:00 p.m. March 8th, 2025
No Visitation Arrangements with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne. She passed away Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, at Wayne Countryview Care. Memorials may be directed to Lola's family for later designation.
Lola Mae Paulsen was born May 9, 1932, in Parnell, Missouri to Moncloe Clayton and Edna Valora (Hight) Milligan. She was a graduate of Winside High School. Lola Mae and Marvin were married September 19, 1951, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Carroll. The couple farmed near Carroll and Randolph, before moving to Winside. Lola Mae was a loving and hard working homemaker caring for her large family. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and watching western tv shows.
Lola Mae is survived by her five children, Michael (Peg) Paulsen, Scott (Amy) Paulsen, Doug (Amy) Paulsen, Jason (Tina) Paulsen all of Hoskins, and Lisa (Mike) Thies of Winside; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Cindy Milligan of Wayne; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Preceding Lola Mae in death were her parents, Moncloe and Edna Milligan; husband, Marvin in 2007; daughter, Debra Lee in 2010; three brothers, Wayne (Mona Meyer) Milligan, Ed Milligan and Jesse (Judy) Milligan; parents-in-law, Martin and Anna (Soeksen) Paulsen; many in-laws and several nephews.
