He is preceded in death by his parents Charles A and Jeneda Shircliff; and his Brother Ivan.
Left to cherish his memory is his Sister Maxine Dettman; Nephews Ronald, Mark, and Michael; and an entire Community of friends and Students who were greatly influenced by Charlie. His classroom and his students were the great loves of his life.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 2-8 pm at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home Jeffersontown 10600 Taylorsville Rd. His Funeral Mass will be 10 am Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at St. Edward Catholic Church 9608 Sue Helen Dr.
Expressions of Sympathy may be made to The American Cancer Society and St Edward Catholic Church.

Charlie was a wonderful teacher and mentor to the middle school students of St. Edward School. He motivated them to learn and be the best they could be. My children will always have fond memories of him.
