Charles Glaydon Simpson, 68, a Lab Supervisor for Cooper Tire, died April 18, 2025, at home. Visitation is Thursday, April 24, 2025, 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Riverside Baptist Church in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 2:00pm Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Riverside Baptist Church in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Charles was a member of Belen Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons John Charles (Jenna) Simpson of Collierville, TN, Austin Simpson of Starkville, MS; daughter Anna Simpson of Wynne, AR; grandchildren Preston Simpson, Luke Simpson, Layla Simpson; sister-in-law Belinda Simpson of Clarksdale, MS.
Preceded in death by his parents Ray & Joyce Holloway Simpson; brothers Mike Simpson, Steve Simpson; sister-in-law Patricia Pittman Simpson.
