Charles Taylor Obituary
Mr. Charles Edward Taylor, affectionally know as Papa Bear, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 surrounded by his family at the age of 78.
Mr. Taylor was born on February 19, 1945 in Wilmington, Delaware. He served in U.S. Air Force for 22 years. He was a resident of the Armed Forces Retirement Home for the past 11 years. He had an infectious laugh everyone loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Josiah Atwood Taylor and Sarah Bradley; and by his wife, Mary Catherine Taylor. Left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Jennifer Taylor (Mark Velazquez); son, Phillip Taylor (Kimberly McGree); grandson, Darrin J. Rush; and by his pets, Dyna and Oscar.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. A graveside service will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Honorary pall bearers are Phillip Taylor Tony Langdon and Mark Velazquez.
