Services are Saturday, Mar. 23, 2024, at Proctor's Mortuary 3522 Washington Blvd. Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 10AM.
Charles Ray was a lifelong native of Beaumont, TX; born to Viola White Colon and Charles Ray Harris. He attended French High School. He retired from his career as a pile driver for Berkel and Company Contractors. Charles loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He loved basketball and riding his bike. He played tennis and enjoyed dressing himself in nice apparel.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Viola White Colon and Charles Ray Goodman. Brothers: Michael Thibodeaux and Jeffery Thibodeaux.
Charles is survived by his sons: Charles Ray Harris, Christopher Harris; his daughters: Yuameka Walters-Bell, Kelly Durst (Jasmine), Christina Harris; his brothers: Troy Thibodeaux (Ivy), Trent Thibodeaux (Merle), Joe Thibodeaux, James Thibodeaux (Carolyn) Harold Thibodeaux (Liz), Benny Thibodeaux (Winnie), sisters: Brenda Cummings, Elaine Winfrey, Mary Wright, Roberta Donnell, Faye Lee (JC), and stepbrothers and stepsisters. A host of grandkids, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Proctor's Mortuary - Beaumont, is in charge of final arrangements, 3522 Washington Blvd. Beaumont, TX. 77705 (409) 840-2022. The guest book can be signed; words of comfort and condolences for the family can be left at www.proctorsmortuary.com
