Alvis Charles Trammell, 66, of Scurry, TX passed away on July 5, 2024, in Mesquite. Charles was born on June 11, 1958, to Elton and Barbara Trammell in Kaufman, TX. Charles graduated from Skyline High School in 1976. He worked in the Dallas ISD for 11 years and Kaufman ISD for 6 years as a custodian, bus mechanic and bus driver. Charles spent time at the gun range shooting his guns and when he was younger going fishing. He was a foodie and loved eating with family and friends around the holidays. Charles was a beloved Father, Grandfather and Brother. His parents, Elton and Barbara, and grandparents preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory include children: Amanda Trammell and husband Cesar Gonzalez and Chris Trammell; grandchildren: Cesar J. Gonzalez, Shyann Gonzalez, Savannah Gonzalez, Damien Delangel, Julian Delangel, Alyssa Trammell and Adyana Trammell; sister Zina White, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
