Lucas Funeral Home - KellerToney Deveron Lattimore Sr., born on March 2, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on September 15, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. Toney's life was a tribute to dedication, resilience, and love for those around him.
A proud graduate of Skyline High School, Toney completed his education in 1985. He further served his country with honor in the United States Army from February 25, 1987, until July 31, 2000. His military service exemplified his commitment to duty, and he earned accolades such as the air assault badge and recognition as a logistical specialist.
Toney had a diverse range of interests that brought joy to his life and those of his loved ones. A passionate supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, he enjoyed indulging in boxing, BBQ grilling, playing pool, and engaging in carpentry. Known for his expertise in sports and as a marksman, Toney contributed to a vibrant community, sharing his passions with friends and family alike.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his sons, Toney Lattimore, Jr. and Marcus Lattimore of Austin, TX, and Cedric Lattimore of Dallas, TX; his daughter, Tierra Lattimore of Dallas, TX; his fiancé, Stephanie Allen of Ft. Worth, TX; and his mother, Bennie Turner of DeSoto, TX. Additionally, Toney is survived by his two sisters, Sharon Latcher (Ernest) and Krisshondra Walker, both of Dallas, TX, along with his three brothers, Marcus Washington (Johnnie) of Tyler, TX, Larry Washington, Sr. of Austin, TX, and Reginald Washington of Dallas, TX. His legacy will also live on through his three cherished grandchildren, Ayanna Lattimore, Marcus Lattimore, Jr., and Kayleen Lattimore. Toney is further mourned by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Lattimore; and his beloved great niece, Sabria Roman and nephew, Larry Washington Jr.
Toney Deveron Lattimore Sr. will be remembered as a devoted father, a respected friend, and a loyal protector. His spirit will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
