Charles Uhrig Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kramer Family Funeral & Cremation Center on Feb. 22, 2025.
Charles Douglas Uhrig, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2025, surrounded by love after a courageous battle with cancer.
Charles had an infectious laugh and a beautiful, childlike spirit that brought joy to all who knew him. His warmth and kindness were unmatched, and he had a way of making everyone around him laugh.
A proud Army veteran, Charles served his country with honor, traveling across the world during his time in service. His dedication and strength were evident not only in his military career but in the way he cherished and loved his family and God.
Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Norma; father, Charles; daughter, Heather; brother, Terry; and grandparents, Papa and Lala. He is survived by his loving daughter, Rachel; his cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Leah, Oscar, and Luke; his sisters, Lisa, Julie, and Debbie; and many nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Though Charles is no longer with us, his memory and the joy he shared will never be forgotten. Per his wishes, there will be no formal funeral services, and he will be cremated. Instead, those who loved him are invited to honor his life in a way he would have enjoyed-by sharing a meal and remembering the laughter and love he brought into the world. If you would like to join in celebrating Charles's life, please reach out to his daughter, Rachel @505-440-3030.
Charles may be gone, but he will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
