We miss Adam so much. There was nothing like walking to BC&T and catching up with Adam over coffee. He shared stories of his trips to England before we took both of our trips and it was fun to compare experiences. It´s been almost a year since we lost Adam so suddenly and it´s not the same without him.

The first time I met Adam, he was giving a beautiful, gentle massage to a terminally ill infant. The baby was pretty much unresponsive, but we could not but hope that Adam's hands were sending love to that child in a special way. Since then, BC&T has been a favorite meeting place for friends who do not get together often. And Adam always made the absolute best cappuccino when he was there. Rest in peace, Adam... may you rest in peace. Sympathies to all your family.

Oh No! not Adam. Oh, I (we) will miss you at Berea, Coffee and Tea. Living 11 miles out of Berea, you are part of the Center (heart) of Berea. It was a treat to come to your place, Adam. You will be missed too by all your regulars, those who propped up the bar, those who came to get some work done in a conducive relaxed environment, and those who were travelling through. Regulars, we were not. You were a special occasion stop for us, a special venue, working with a writing group buddy or having lunch with my husband when we had two reasons to be in Berea in one day. You made our third reason.
As a returnee to Berea, a retiree, it was good to know that there was a gathering place, a place that served Earl Grey Tea with real milk as an option. " Round the Corner'' was in existence when I lived here the first time around, [1979-85]. I looked for it on return, and though not there, just a little further around the corner was " B, C and T"....and Adam.
Our first conversation was the lemon scones that he had made fresh. I was impressed. I was at home, Brit that I am. We spoke of England and Wales and joked, and also spoke in Spanish ..just because we felt like it. Fun. Always interesting. I liked his eclecticism, his interest sparked in other places, other peoples. You have been host to many. You gave your best to us. Now rest in eternal PEACE with hosts above, and THANK YOU Ally and David Nurre

Charles always brought his fun loving humor to work every day. Always pleasant and eager to help in any way he could. A real go getter to get a problem solved and share the resolution with the rest of the team. It was pleasure to know him and work with him at TSC. He loved life and he will be missed.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends whom he loved so much and who shared his world.

Condolences to Adam's family. I met Adam at work. He would come through the drive-thru and we would talk and laugh. He was so easy to get to know. We talked about his work day and life. He made me laugh. He had an awesome personality. I looked forward to seeing him come by. What a beautiful soul. I hadn't seen him in a few months and he was in my thoughts. I was quite heart broken at the news of his passing. He will be missed!

Dropping in to BC&T to see Adam and catch up was a highlight of every trip back to Berea. HIs smile and genuineness made him the kind of friend that I could pick right up where we left off, as if no time had passed at all.

Oh Adam....I am having a very hard time dealing with this, so many memories are flooding in my head, it is overwhelming. Adam was sharp, he was witty, he was funny, he loved to prank you. He was tender and sensitive. He hid his struggles but was out there for others. He was generous and gentle. He could sing and he could dance. He was deep in thought and in feelings.  It will take me a long time to heal and to find peace about losing him. But I smile because I know that wherever his spirit is right now, it is singing, dancing and laughing as it's flying up high, free of worries and pain. Strike a pose my love, wherener you are.

From high school to college, from wedding showers to baby showers, from night clubs to night drives, Adam was unforgettable. His friendship was a huge part of my life -- and the lives of so many others. Peace and healing to his family and all who loved him.

Adam thanks for welcoming me to Berea. Thanks for an incredibly healing cup of tea when I had a cold. Thankyou for your friendship and guidance during my divorce. Thankyou for tons of laughter and thought provoking conversations. Thankyou for your live of my country India and reminding me of its beauty in the art of healing and spirituality. Despite our traumatic ending of our friendship I know our treasured friendship remained in the corner stone of our hearts. Cheers my friend.
