Charles was known for his Southern hospitality and love for his family. He lived a life devoted to his family. His love and devotion for his family knew no boundaries, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and wisdom. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. Forever in our hearts.
Charles is survived by children, Charles E. White, Jr., Crystal Crewe, Denis Haynes, and Wendy Haynes-Britton; and a host of other relatives and friends. His beloved wife of forty-nine years, Eileen White, preceded him in death.
A service to celebrate the life of Charles E. White, Sr. will be held at noon, Friday, June 30, 2023, at Whiting's Funeral Home. Livestream will be available at the beginning of the service. Interment to follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Mr. White may be viewed on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
