Charles Windsor Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Froberg Funeral Home at Oak Park on Jan. 21, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Charles "Chuck" Melvin Windsor. Born on November 5, 1977 to Bob and Denise Windsor, he was the eldest of their four children and was named after Denise's father/his Pop. As a kid, he loved hunting and fishing with his Pop and playing sports especially football. During his teenage years, he could be seen driving around Alvin in his 1972 Chevy K5 Blazer named "Ole Red" which was always a sight to see. He went on to become a plumber and loved spending time with his family and being outdoors. He married Cori Windsor and settled in Arkansas with his wife and two beautiful girls. He passed surrounded by family at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville, Arkansas on January 17, 2025. He will be remembered for his protective nature, his ability to make everyone laugh, and his love for family. Two of his nephews and a niece are named after their fearless and amazing Uncle Chuck.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles "Pop" and Babetta Sue "Granny" Cochran and Earl "Grandpa" and Winnie "Grandma" Windsor, his aunt Bonnie Prescott, and his step-uncle Billy Wright. He is survived by his wife Cori Windsor and her children Eva and Skylar Brod whom he loved as his own along with his grandson Rowan Hampton who was the apple of his eye. He is also survived by his parents Denise Garner and Bob & Kathy Windsor along with his siblings Krista Herrington (Cheyenne, Jr, Trisha, Peyton), Stephanie and Joshua Wilson (Nicholas, Jazmine, Larry), Robert "LB" and Laura Windsor (Cole, Nathan, Courtney, Tatum, Charles "Boogs") and step siblings Angela and Mike Gage (Ashlyn and Ally) and Cynthia Jackowski (Amy and Emily).
