Charles Winthal Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Parente Funeral Home Pre-Planning & Cremation Services - Fairfield Center on Jan. 12, 2026.
Charlie Winthal Jr, beloved son, partner, and friend, passed away on January 2, 2026. He had a deep love for animals, especially his cherished cats, whom he treated like his own children. Charlie was passionate about music, fishing, horror movies, photography, graphic design, and all forms of art. A lifelong scholar, he never ceased in his pursuit of knowledge, always finding ways to educate himself.
Charlie is predeceased by his mother, Vanessa Mazerolle, and his stepfather, David Mazerolle. He is survived by his girlfriend, Tricia Morawski, his father, Charles Louis Winthal Sr., and Charlie Sr.'s partner, Patricia Moore.
In addition to his interests, Charlie was known for his unwavering support of family and friends. He was always there to help, whether it was with practical assistance or simply lending a compassionate ear. A great listener, Charlie, loved to offer the best advice he could to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4-8pm, at Parente Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824.
