Charlie loved to dance and sing. He also enjoyed playing the lottery.
He is survived by siblings: Charlie Jack Alexander, Claudia Neal, Johnny (Michelle) Ford, Jerome Alexander, Juanita Alexander, Mike (Jeanette) Alexander, Joyce Alexander Ashmore, Joseph Alexander, Margretta Alexander, Tony Alexander, Charise Alexander Oliver, Jerome Tuge Alexander; children: Rachelle Dennis, Temeca (Darrel) Wilkerson, Tiffany Clements, Melissa (Kevin) Johnson, Charlene Alexander, Bobby Neely, Chat Alexander, Lamiya Young, Duke Alexander-Owen, Shaquille Alexander, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Sherrill Ford, Paulette Roberts, Linda Ford, Roosevelt Alexander, Rosetta Alexander, Lawrence Alexander, and Dominique Alexander.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 at 10am at Pillar of the Truth C.O.G.I.C., 1000 S. Greenlawn Ave., Peoria, IL. The funeral service will follow at 11am with Bishop Nelson Watts, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery, 914 S. Pleasant St., Peoria, IL.

I only knew Charlie at The Loft. He was a sweet, sweet man and I will never forget him! He is dancing on streets of gold now!
