Charlie Benton, 37, of Gainesville, TX, passed away April 24, 2024 in Gainesville.
Charlie was born July 31, 1986 in Gainesville and graduated from Gainesville High School. She worked for WinStar Casino for over 20 years. In her free time, Charlie liked shopping, crocheting, and enjoyed various crafts. She dearly loved her cats and spending time with her family.
Survived by: husband Robby Benton of Gainesville; mother Patty Morris of Gainesville; sister Candy Ashlock of Nocona; sister Christina Falcon of Sherman; sister Krystal Morris (Josh) of Ardmore, OK; brother Jimmy Jordan, Jr. of Gainesville; mother-in-law Rebecca Benton of Gainesville; and brother-in-law Monty Benton of Gainesville.
Predeceased by: father Jimmy Jordan, Sr.; brother Donnie Ashlock; father-in-law Danny Benton; and nephew Justin Ashlock.
A memorial service has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gainesville, TX.

I first met Charlie more than twenty years ago at Winstar. I was interviewing her for the drink service department. It was her birthday and she was so excited to be hired. She was the sweetest young lady and remained that way all the years I have known her.
