Charlie John Chupik, Jr., a spirited, passionate, and generous man, passed away on June 13, 2023, in Dripping Springs, Texas. Born on May 14, 1946, in Houston, Texas, Charlie spent 77 years creating memories with his loved ones and building a lasting legacy through his work, hobbies, and the relationships he cultivated along the way.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Chupik, and their two devoted children, Eric (Dee) Chupik and Jolie (Erik) Nelson. He was a proud grandfather to Kendal, Cash, and Jessie. His family brought immense joy and laughter into his life. Charlie and Joanne recently celebrated 56 years of marriage. Charlie's family was his greatest pride, and he cherished the time spent with them, creating memories and stories, that will be held dear for years to come.
Throughout his professional life, Charlie found success in project management, working for prominent companies such as Chevron and Chick-fil-A. In these roles, he was able to showcase his exceptional skills in leadership, organization, and dedication to excellence.
In his personal life, Charlie was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. These activities allowed him to bond with friends and family over shared experiences. Charlie's enthusiasm for these pursuits was contagious, and he leaves behind a legacy of appreciation for the great outdoors.
Charlie will be remembered for his friendly demeanor and his generous heart. He was always the first to help those in need, and his kindness touched the lives of many. His warm smile made it easy for him to make friends wherever he went, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
As we mourn the loss of Charlie John Chupik Jr., we also celebrate the life he lived. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the love he shared with his family. Rest in peace, Charlie, and thank you for the joy, laughter, and love you brought into our lives.
A reception with the family will be held at 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at First United Methodist Church, 28900 RR 12, Dripping Springs, Texas.
