Charlie Gadison III was born on June 22, 1959 in Greenville, MS to Doris and Charlie Gadison Jr.
He attended Greenville public schools, graduating in 1978. He enlisted in the Army and proudly served for 7 years.
In 1991 Charlie moved his family to Austin, TX. He worked for the University of Texas Frank Erwin Center for many years.
Later, he went to work at Travis County as a security officer which he retired from in January 2021.
On Thursday November 23, 2023 after a few months of a hard fought battle, he received his wings.
He is preceded in death by Shanelle Gadison (daughter), hisloving parents, Herschell Gadison (nephew), Emma Gadison, and Teresa Stokes (sisters).
He leaves to Cherish fond memories his loving wife Karen of 43 years, Charissa and Danika (daughters), Charlie Gadison IV (son), 5 grandchildren, Jakiah Robinson, Chanelle Gadison, Carmen Gadison, Chelsea Gadison, and Charlie Gadison V.
His siblings include 5 sisters, Lorraine, Lisa, Laverne, Stephanie, Debra (Darrin), and 2 brothers Dwayne, and Marcus (Iris).
Also mourning his passing are a host of extended family members and friends.

I remember as kid , when we was all living on the southside ,we would come over to your house and ya'll had them big ol Black dogs , You will always make one of the kids put them up and Karen use to always say " They don't bite " lol . We going to miss you out here Unc.
