Charlie Dalton Moore passed quietly on 11/19/2025 in Bastrop, Texas surrounded by his wife and family. Charlie was married for 46 years to Margaret Smith Moore. They both graduated from Abilene High School in 1956 and were partners in life and business before her passing. Charlie remarried Sara Green Moore and they were married for nearly 20 years.
Charlie was a graduate of Abilene Christian College and received his RhD in 1963 from Southwestern University. Charlie was a dedicated registered pharmacist for over 50 years. In that time span he worked for Gibson pharmacy In Abilene, Texas before purchasing his own pharmacy (Tall City Pharmacy) in Midland, Texas. After leaving Midland he continued to work as a pharmacist in various stores in Dallas/Plano. He received many national awards for his pharmaceutical work.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary Louise Moore and wife Margaret Smith Moore. He is survived by his wife, Sara Green Moore, and stepson James "Scooter" Green, son Charles Moore (Dallas) and sister Dawn Moore Trammel (Abilene, Tx).
