Charlotte A. Healey, age 79, of Ansonia, passed away surrounded by her family at Yale New Haven Hospital on August 21, 2025. She was the loving wife of Brian M. Healey, Sr. for 56 years.

Charlotte was born in Bridgeport on December 18, 1945, the daughter of the late Agnes Caldwell Hannon and the late Arthur F. Caldwell, Sr. She was raised in Norwalk and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1963. She was employed by Griffin Hospital for many years up until her retirement. Charlotte was an excellent cook and an avid reader with an impeccable vocabulary. She loved playing cards, solving crossword puzzles, watching movies, and laughed through life with her own sense of humor. She was a great big sister who felt like a second mom to her younger siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Heather Pomponio and Tara Healey; sisters Maureen (Michael) Orazietti and Tricia (James) Slowik; grandchildren Taylor Healey, Cameron and Cassandra Pomponio, son-in-law Scott Pomponio; sister-in-law Arlene (Arthur) Caldwell and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Brian M. Healey, Jr.; and her brothers Arthur F. Caldwell, Jr. and James Hannon.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby.
