Evelyn R. "Dayton" Isaac

Evelyn R. Isaac, age 85, of Shelton entered into rest on Monday, August 18, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Isaac.

Evelyn was born in Derby on July 23, 1940 daughter of the late Earl and Eleanor (Floberg) Dayton and was a Shelton resident for most of her life.

She owned and operated a home cleaning service for many years until her retirement. Evelyn and her husband enjoyed camping in their motor home. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.

Eveyln was the beloved mother of Robert (Maria) Pillsbury and Barbara (Edward) Malota, loving grandmother of Sara (Tim) Nagy, Julia Malota and Jessica Pillsbury and great grandmother of Annika, Trey and Dugan Nagy. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was predeceased by a brother Clifford Dayton and a sister Joan Jenner.

On Monday, August 25th, 2025 friends may call from 9:00 - 10:15 AM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM for her funeral service at 11:00 AM at First United Church of Christ, 34 W Main St., Milford. Her burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
