Charlotte M. Keto, 81, a lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly on June 8, 2023, at home in Hyde Park.
Born January 22, 1942, in the Arlington area of Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Jack and Sarah Miller Rogers.
Charlotte was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the former Hyde Park and Victory Lake Nursing Homes, retiring in 2000.
She was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah in Rhinebeck.
Ms. Keto was also an Election Inspector at polling sites in Hyde Park for the Dutchess County Board of Elections.
Survivors include three children, John Keto and Tracy Kwant, both of Hyde Park, and Ann-Marie Keen of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Joshua and Cori Keto, Andrew Kwant, Jessica Domenech, and Antonio and Sabrina Velez; and two great grandchildren, Freigha Haitsch, and Mateo Velez.
She is also survived by her brother, Richard Rogers, of Hyde Park; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Tom Keto of Clintondale.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and John Rogers.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be on Saturday June 17th at Noon at Church of the Messiah, 6436 Montgomery Street, Rhinebeck, NY 12572.
In lieu of flowers, the Keto family respectfully requests memorial donations to The Episcopal Church of the Messiah, 6436 Montgomery Street, Rhinebeck, NY 12572.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
