Charlotte was welcomed home into the arms of Jesus and reunited with her Family on 8/15/2025, at Home with Family by her side.
She was born in Cedar Hill, New Mexico to Pauline Foreman and Henry Young. They moved to Mesa, Arizona where her Father worked for Burge Ford Company. Then the Family moved to Paonia, Colorado in 1957.
She grew up and went to Paonia Middle School and High school where she graduated with the Class of 1965.
She was married to John Morrell on 8/6/1966, in Paonia, Colorado. They celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary on 8/6/2025.To this union were born two boys, Brett Morrell and Darrell Morrell. Brett passed away on 8/12/2007.
Her hobbies were school and sporting activities, games, flowers, sewing, making wedding cakes, crafting, shopping and traveling. She loved babies, she was an excellent homemaker and shared her many talents with others. She was loved by the Community and her Church Family. She loved Elvis and all his songs.
She leaves behind her Husband, Son Darrell and his Wife Tricia and two Grandchildren, Emmit and Allyson.
She was preceded by in Death by her Parents, Sister Mary and Son Brett.
Memorial Service will be on 8/22/25, at 1:30 PM at the Latter-Day Saints in Paonia, CO followed by graveside services at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charlotte’s name to Hope West, 3090 N 12th St. Ste. B, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
