She was born March 24, 1945 in Cambridge, daughter of the late James Linton and Georgetta (Vincent) Linton.
A 1962 graduate of Quaker City High School, Charlotte had worked at March Electric for several years. She was an auxiliary member of the Kipling VFW Post.
Charlotte loved her time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting and watching her soap operas. She loved her Buckeyes and Browns.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Pearson, who passed away June 19, 1999; a son, Rickey Wharton; her sisters, Penny Linton Green and Patsy Linton Rose; a son-in-law, John Fannin; and a niece, Wendy Dawn Green.
Charlotte is survived by three daughters, Holly (& Jason) Hannahs of Kimbolton, Heather Fannin of Byesville, and Maggie Pearson of the home; a brother, Scotty Linton; a sister, Lisa Stewart; her grandchildren, Corey (& Ashley) Bates, Jimmy (& Taylar) Runyon, Johnny (& Shay) Hannahs, Timmy (& Brittany) Runyon, Carrie (& Tristen) Bickford, Brayley (& Aryann) Fannin, Christopher Hupp, Shaylen (& Tommy) Fannin, Kelsey Pearson, and Kendra Pearson; her great-grandchildren, Quinton, Xander, Parker, Alaynna, Hudson, Kayden, Brooklyn, Ayden, James, Kolton, Brenliegh, Gemma, Brealyn, Adilynn, Brantley, Oaklynn, Wrenn, Leo, and Ares; many bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Flash and Iris.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (December 10, 2024) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.
Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
