Cherida Warfield Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home on Dec. 17, 2025.
Cherida Lynn Warfield, 68, of Paris, Kentucky, born September 5, 1957, passed away peacefully at her home on December 15, 2025.
Cherida was a proud graduate of Paris High School, Class of 1975. She spent a large part of her career working at Kentucky Textiles, but she also had a soft spot for children and enjoyed her years working in local daycares.
To know Cherida was to appreciate her unique personality. She was often blunt-you always knew where you stood with her-but that honesty was matched by a generous and caring heart. She brought a sense of fun to family gatherings, especially when presenting you with a carefully selected birthday card, designed to get a laugh. (Haha!)
In her free time, Cherida loved spending time with her family. She also had a sharp eye for a bargain and loved the thrill of shopping for a good deal.
Cherida is survived by her daughter, Casey Lynn (Dylan) Sanders; her sisters, Laura Warfield and Lisa Warfield Johnson; her brother, Joseph (Vanessa) Henderson; and her niece, Olivia Warfield. She also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Warfield; her brother, Jerome Henderson; her uncles, Raymond & William Warfield; and her great-nephew, Davion Griggs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial to follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Monday, December 22, 2025, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Terrell Howard, Tre Howard, Chris Griggs, Malcolm Warfield, Tony Henderson, and J.K. Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be David Griggs, Jr., Dontez Myers and Dylan Sanders.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. The online guestbook is at www.luskmcfarland.com and a 24-hour funeral information line can be reached by calling 859-987-4387.
