Cherry Gass Obituary
THE RESCHEULDED FUNERAL SERVICE FOR CHERRY KAY GASS WILL BE HELD SATURDAY JANUARY 27, 2024, 7:00PM AT SWANNS CHAPEL BAPTIST CHURCH. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON SATURDAY FROM 4:00pm TO 7:00pm PRIOR TO SERVICES AT THE CHURCH.
Cherry Kay (Wise) Gass , age 66, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday evening, January 11, 2024, following a brief illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sibling who loved and cherished her family dearly and will be greatly missed. Cherry will be fondly remembered as a happy and cheerful friend always jovial to all that knew her and was one that was always willing to do for others. Cherry is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Myrtle Mae Wise, and grandson Jaxson Parrott. She is survived by her husband, Steve Gass; sons, David (Bridget) Parrott, Daniel (Tanya) Parrott, and Brad (Sara) Gass; brothers, Dennis (Kay) Wise, Mike (Adrianne) Wise, sisters, Veronica (Brent) Dickinson, and Brenda (Sonny) Strange; twenty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, 7:00pm at Swann’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at the church.
