Cheryl A. Eby

Cheryl A. Eby, 74 of Medina, Ohio left her earthly home on June 25, 2024, and is now in the arms of Jesus. She fought a long battle with Scleroderma, but never lost her faith or joy even in all the pain.
She was born December 18, 1949 in Shamokin, PA to the late William and Shirley (Snyder) Persing.
Cheryl graduated from Buckeye High School where she was in the marching band and Cotillion. She had been a loan officer at First Merit Bank in Medina. Cheryl taught Sunday School as well as ladies bible study for many years. She also sang in the choir and sent out many encouraging cards. She loved being a mom, cooking, painting, and having coffee with friends.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Jerry; daughter, Leslie; sisters, Joan Persing, Judy Cadle, and Linda Woodruff; sisters-in-law, Vicki Williams and Xochi Geiger; nieces, Renee Milliron, Susan Kytta, and Jennifer Persing; great-nephews, Ian Milliron and Gabriel Kytta; and great-niece, Riley Milliron.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Persing.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Medina, 3646 Medina Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
