Mary Jane Flory

Mary Jane Flory, 81 of Massillon, Ohio passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born December 13, 1944, in Burbank, Ohio to Walter and Hazel (Myers) Flory. Mary grew up there and graduated from Norwayne High School in 1958. She worked for many years as an accountant and operations manager for Alpine-Alpa Chalet and Restaurant in Wilmot, Ohio, retiring in 2003.
Mary was a very caring person and enjoyed doing things for everyone. She was a good friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed playing softball in her younger days, being a very good pitcher, and was an avid bowler and Hall of Fame member of Canton Women's Bowling Assoc. She also liked working in her yard, garden, and flower beds, as well as caring for her dogs, cats, and horses. She would often bring home little kittens from the horse barn to nurture.
She is survived by her niece, Karen Gorman; nephew, Jason Flory; and good friend Diane Poling. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Walter and Harold Flory.
Visitation will be Monday, December 29, from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, Ohio, where her funeral service will immediately follow visitation beginning at 12 Noon. Her nephew, Pastor Jason Flory will officiate. Burial will follow at Burbank Cemetery.
