Cheryl Sue Freeman, age 69, of Clark, MO, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, December 6, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia.
Cheryl was born on March 31, 1955, in Madison, MO, to Oliver Richard and Helen Grace (Lepper) Freeman. She graduated from Madison C-3 High School in 1973.
Cheryl was a loving, caring mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed family time, her dogs, crocheting, collecting owls, coffee mugs, gardening, and cooking. Her family and friends will always remember her kindhearted soul and unconditional love for her family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Freeman; father, Oliver Freeman; grandmother, Georgia Lepper; grandfather, Charles Lepper; and sister, Janice Hull.
Cheryl is survived by her sons: David Deener, Jr., of Centralia, MO, Derek (Katy) Deener, of Mexico, MO, Daren Deener, of Clark, MO; brother, Richard Freeman, of Pipe Creek, TX; sister, Rachel (Shannon) Nichols, of Fulton, MO; grandchildren: Daniel (Samantha) Deener, of Florissant, MO, Destinee (Eric) Baker, of Fayetteville, NC, Drake Deener, of Center, MO, Diamond Deener, of Mexico, MO, Lily Mulherin, of Moscow Mills, MO, Hunter (Reece) Stonebraker, of Columbia, MO, Faith Mulherin, of Mexico, MO, Chris Mulherin, of O’Fallon, MO; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and beloved dog, Freckles.
A Memorial Service celebrating Cheryl’s life will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO.
