On Friday June 28th, 2024, CherylAnn, named for the tugboat, danced her way into heaven.

Our "Dancing Queen" was born April 29th, 1961.

Cheryl loved and was loved immensely by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends and colleagues.
Cheryl had a passion for life, love, dance, music, art, photography, cooking, traveling, yoga and theater. She loved being by the water, being in the water, whether it be in a pool, lake, ocean, river or sea.
There are a multitude of memories that cannot be fully expressed. Memories of birthday parades around the block, family weekend gatherings either be for breakfast with homemade waffles or afternoons for pizza parties.
Cheryl wore many hats throughout her life, most recently she was a Social Worker on 9 CFAC at Froedtert Hospital, she also worked as a Hospitalist Support and a HUC during her tenure. During her children's younger years, Cheryl was a substitute teacher for the Wauwatosa School District and was a Co-Director of the Children's Theater of Wauwatosa, as well as a Milwaukee Repertory Teaching Artist.
Cheryl was greatly involved and supported her immediate community. Cheryl was the block club organizer for Livingston Avenue. Cheryl didn't miss a farmer's market and supported local starving artists.
Our family would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to all who have provided support and comfort during this difficult time. As Cheryl was a vibrant, radiant, bright, colorful and spirited being, full of life, please feel free to wear bright colors to Sunday's Celebration.
In loving memory, as we will all always remember CherylAnn. May her soul rest in peace.

Aunt Cheryl always put family first. She was the most loving, cheerful, and loyal aunt to have. I am blessed to call her my family. She always supported me and my siblings through everything we did, she fought to see us when others didn´t. May this beautiful, kind-hearted woman rest in peace. You are deeply missed. I cannot express how much you mean to me and my sister. We love you so much.

Just finding out today and I am truly saddened to hear Cheryl has passed away. I have known her most of my life and have had many wonderful memories of her boisterous laugh, beautiful big smile and abundance of energy and kindness. What I will most remember about her was her loyalty, kindness and love and continued involvement in my daughter´s (her nieces Izabella Walek and Sophia Walek) who have been so blessed to have had her in their lives over the years. I am forever grateful to her for always reaching out, taking them to lunch or short trips to Chicago and the zoo for her company picnics. Coming to watch their various sports activities; just spending quality time building memories they will never forget and will always cherish. She will be deeply missed. May you Rest in Peace Cheryl.

Cheryl Ann ALWAYS wore a big smile! She would greet me with a friendly hello, a big smile, and such positive energy as she walked through the halls on 4NE. My prayers are being sent to all her family and friends who loved her.
