Cheryl Denise Woodington

Cheryl Denise Woodington, 73, passed away on July 18, 2024 in Currituck, NC. Cheryl was born in Alleghany County, PA, and was the daughter of the late Josiah and Marjorie Woodington. She has lived in the Tidewater area for most of her life. She worked in the Electrical Industry as a Project Manager and Estimator. She later worked and managed United Boat Lifts with her son Clinton in Norfolk. She loved to sew and Crochet. Cheryl was a devout Christian with a strong faith. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her two children, Cheri Lynn Bradshaw Peele, and Clinton David Bradshaw and his wife Amanda, two brothers, Josiah Harvey Woodington, III and his wife Beverly, and Eric Stephen Woodington, two sisters, Donna "Mickey" Bunn, and Bonnie Lou Woodington, sister-in-law, Glenda Woodington, three grandchildren, Holly Lynn Peele, Robert Jackson Peele, JR, and Zachary Walker, as well as several extended family members, nieces, nephews and good friends will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Woodington.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday July 27, 2024 in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulder Hills Rd, Suffolk, VA. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Rd Chapel is handling arrangements.
