GILLIESPIE, CHERYLE L. of Waterford, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2025 at 78 years of age. Loving wife of the late Larry Blackburn for 30 years; cherished mother of Michael Gillespie; grandmother of Ryan (Alana), David (Rebecca), and Adam; great grandmother of Brayden and Aurora; sister of Sue (Gary) Mick, David (Chris) Seibert, Jill McKee, and the late Mike Seibert; mother in law of Lisa Gillespie; and survived by her little dog, Scooter. Cheryl was a secretary for the Pontiac School District and retired in 2006 after 27 years. She was a strong family oriented woman. She was a wonderful mother who adored her grandchildren and maintained a close relationship with her brothers and sisters. Her faith was strong and she attended many years General Baptist Church with Larry and recently The River Church with her son. In quiet time she enjoyed reading and feeding the squirrels but most of all she loved the time she spent with her family. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11 AM COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATEROFRD. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 PM.

I have such fond memories of childhood times with you and Sue. I have been searching for you for a few months. Hope I´ve actually found you. (Your obituary seems to be consistent with what I recall.) Will always remember your kindness, your generous laugh, beautiful curls and your gentle spirit. Jeannie Dodd
