Chetina M. Aikins

Chetina Machiavelle Gallon Aikins is a beautiful soul whose love, strength, and faith touched everyone who knew her. On September 10, 1970 she was born to Henry Thomas and Ruby Mae (Gholston) Gallon. Their love and guidance shaped the strong, compassionate woman she became. A devoted member of First Church of God In Christ, she lived her faith every day; not just in words, but in how she cared for others, encouraged those in need, and trusted God through every season of life. She had unwavering love for her family and her steadfast trust in God will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eric Aikins; her parents, her maternal and paternal grandparents; her brothers, Jimmy Lee Gholston and Anthony Gallon Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children - Davon Hudson, Angel (Sir Cali) Aikins, Christopher Aikins, Jamarri (Keanna) Aikins, Breona Aikins, and Harmonie Gallon (niece); two goddaughters, Malazia Batiste and Kannyn Hines - who were all the joy and pride of her life.
She is also survived by her siblings, Tommy (Nancy) Gallon, Darlynn Gallon Brown, Alfred (Cheryl) Gallon, Nichol Gallon Bruce, and Martha Jackson; her great-aunt, Bernice Banks; three aunts, Jeanette (Tiny) Mims, Josie Choice, and Erma Miller; an uncle, Henry Franklin.
She will be lovingly remembered by her bestie, Monica Batiste, who she did every part of life with for many decades. She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
