Chris Conner, 69 of Diana, Texas went home to Lord on Thursday, December 15, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.
Chris Edward Conner was born December 26, 1952,to Richard Lewis Conner and Wanda Jean White Conner in Dallas Texas. He graduated High School from New Diana Independent School District in 1971.
He enjoyed playing football, basketball, and track while in school and continued to be an avid sports fan throughout his life. His favorite teams to follow were the Houston Rockets, Houston Astros, Dallas Cowboys, and all things Texas A & M. He enjoyed watching videos of his grandkids playing basketball in his later years.
He enjoyed working with his hands building fences and using his carpentry skills to make furniture. His favorite gift he completed with his father was a doll house he built for his granddaughter Ainsley.
Before illness took over Chris moved home to care for his mother in her last years where he cooked, cleaned, shopped, and honored her in her last days and he later did the same for his father.
In the last years of his life Chris found the Lord and peace in life. He was looking forward to seeing his parents and sister in heaven.
He is preceded in death by his parents Richard Lewis Conner and Wanda Jean Conner, and sister Renee Conner. He is survived by His son Richard Jacob (Jake) Conner and wife Ashley Conner, grandchildren Boston Ray Conner, and Ainsley Jean Conner, sister Gina Donald, and many other relatives.
A family gathering and service will be held at a later date to come.
