Chris Wayne Cotter, 67, loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend, died Thursday, July 17, 2025.
Chris retired from UCI: Industrial Construction Services as a superintendent. He loved cars, music (with his favorites being the Rolling Stones & the Beatles), sports (especially golf & KU basketball), and caring for his beloved dog, Ruby. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy.
Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
Chris is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Patrice Cotter; and father, Dexter Keith Cotter. He is survived by his mother, Orma Lee Cotter of Wichita; daughter, Abbey (Zach) of Wichita; son, Eric of Wichita Falls, Texas; brother, Douglas (Connie) Cotter of Wichita; companion, Ruby the dog; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives & friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Cancer Center of Kansas 818 North Emporia, Suite 403, Wichita, Kansas 67214. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary – West Chapel
