David Christopher Mills, age 49 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away peacefully Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia after a lengthy battle with cancer. Chris worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
He was born to David G. Mills and Wanda Flynt Mills on January 10, 1975 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother Wanda Flynt Mills; grandparents Sanford and Sue Mills; Fred and Mytle Flynt.
He is survived by his wife Beth Furr Mills; son Garrett Furr, son Walker Flynt Mills and daughter Tiffany Ann Mills; father David G. (Sandy) Mills; along with best friends: Jeff Hall, April Hall, and RT Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to made to the American Cancer Society. The family appreciates all the love and support that has already been shown.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 1-3 pm Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow with Bro. Joey Aytes officiating. Internment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Deer Lodge, TN.
