Funeral service for Christi Michelle Mayeux, age 51 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Judge Robert Newsom officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Chuck Sickles, Collin Mayeux, Caleb Melton, Wesley Mayeux, Haden Sickles and Jordan Bassham serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Mayeux passed away on June 30, 2025 at her residence.
Christi was born on July 24, 1973 in Winnsboro, Texas to Don Carson and Carol Elaine (Wall) Overstreet. She married William Mayeux on November 17, 2007 in Hopkins County, Texas. Christi worked as a certified pharmacist for over 20 years and worked as a radiologist. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church.
She is survived by her husband, William; daughter, Mariah Indermuehle; step-sons, Wesley Neal Mayeux and William “Collin” Mayeux; grandchildren, Layton Bateman, Landry Mayeux and Lawsyn Mayeux; parents, Don and Carol; sisters, Tracie Sickles and husband Chuck and Vicki Bassham and husband, Tony.
Christi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nellie and Arledge Clifton Wall and grandmother, Irene Overstreet.
