Michael Mayeux Obituary
Michael Jude Mayeux, passed away at the Phoenix of Hammond on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on Thursday, March 6, 1947, in Cottonport, Louisiana, the son of the late Reuben Mayeux and the late Lillie Ducote Mayeux.
Michael is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Tiffany M. and Manuel Reyes; son, Mark Mayeux; four grandchildren, Jaydelyn Reyes, Ashlyn Reyes, Alexis Reyes, and Megan Mayeux; two great-grandsons, Zavier Reyes, Zyden Palacios; three sisters, Gayle McGehee, Janice Mayeux, and Sharon Amacker; and his beloved cat, Rainbow.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Mayeux.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday at 11:00 am.
A graveside service and interment will follow at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery in Plaucheville, Louisiana at 2:30 pm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Hammond and Ponchatoula. An on-line guest book is available at www.harrymckneely.com.
