Christian Scott McPherson, 64, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 in his home. Born March 21, 1961 at the Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD he was the son of the late Trent O. and Donna M. (Frank) McPherson.
He attended schools in Montgomery County, Maryland and in Franklin and Fulton Counties in Central Pennsylvania, finally making Chambersburg his home for most of his adult life. Chris was always fascinated with electronics, games of all kinds, books, music and humor. He loved sports and collecting sports memorabilia. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends.
He is survived by a brother, Timothy T. McPherson and his wife Marie of Chambersburg, PA; a sister, Shelley J. McPherson of Columbia, MD; two nephews, Timothy S. McPherson and Trent J. McPherson both of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of other relatives, roommates and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 14, 2025 in the First Pentecostal Church of Chambersburg, 6112 Sheller Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Phyllis Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday morning in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Everett Cemetery, Everett, PA.
Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
