Christian R Sobin

Christian Robert Sobin, age 29, of Derby entered into eternal rest on Monday January 17, 2022 in Derby. He was born in New Haven on February 14, 1992 the son of Christi (Sobin) Didato and Stefon Morant. Christian was a graduate of Ansonia High school where he excelled on their sports teams; earning All Valley Honors for baseball and made the All NVL team for football. He loved to work out and could regularly be found at the gym. Following high school he took a job in the construction industry.
Christian is survived by his his mother Christi Didato (Miguel), father Stefon Morant (Kimberly), twin brother Julian Sobin (Tiffany), maternal grandparents Robert and Carmella Sobin, paternal grandmother Linda Morant, niece Juliana Sobin, aunts Shelli Mealha (Frank), Cindy Macek (Gary), uncles Robert Sobin (Erika), Frank Morant (Jayme), and Leander Morant, half siblings Twyla and Stefon Morant (Margo), and his girlfriend Amanda Hernandez. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather FranklinLevi Morant and his Uncle Julien Morant.
Friends are invited to greet Christian's family on Thursday January 20 from 4 to 7 PM in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Masks are required to attend the visitation. On Friday friends are invited to go directly to St. Mary Church, 212 Elizabeth St. Derby, for his Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.adzimafh.com.
