Christine Ullrich Buscha

Funeral services for Christine Buscha, 81, of Greens Creek, Texas, will be held 11:00 am, Friday, November 10, 2023 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda, Texas with Rev. Dustin Beck officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until service time at the church. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery.
Christine Buscha was born on September16, 1942 in Round Top, Texas to Jacob Ullrich Sr. and Tonie Spies Ullrich. She was a graduate from Burton High school in Burton. Christine was baptized June 3, 1960 and confirmed on June 5, 1960 at Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church. Christine was united in marriage to Edward A. Buscha on April 29, 1961 at Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church in Berlin, TX. They were blessed with their son Timothy Buscha. She went to work as an office administrator for a home health company in Bellville where she and Edward lived for 15 years. She transitioned to Warranty Clerk at Oviedo Dodge in La Grange until Edward retired. They truly loved their ranching lifestyle. Christine enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, and feeding her birds. She always kept a watchful eye on her husband while he worked on the farm. Christine had a hard-fought battle with breast cancer for five years. She was a strong supporter of the ladies' aid at Holy Cross and loved assisting people in their time of need. Family always came first in her life, and she never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.
Christine passed the evening of Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Cypress, Texas with her family by her side.
She is survived by her husband Edward A. Buscha, her son Timothy Buscha and his wife Elizabeth of Cypress; two grandsons, Zachary Buscha and Cortland Hughes; three sisters, Katherine Wellmann and husband Vernon of Brenham, Tonetta Schlemmer and husband James of Cameron, and Birdie Kristoff and husband James of Rockdale; three brothers, Lynwood Ullrich and wife Betty of Brenham, Jacob Ullrich Jr. and wife June of Lewisville, and Ernest Ullrich and wife Martha of Lexington and well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Christine is preceded by her parents; granddaughter, Lauren Buscha; sister, Aliene Finke and her husband Fritz; brother-in-law, John Praesel; niece, Debra Brandt; great niece, Genna Wacker.
Pallbearers will be Michael Scallan, Jason Scallan, Clayton Ullrich, Eric Ullrich, Matthew Wehring, and Mike Scallan, Sr..
Memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church or to the charity of one's choice.
