Lorene Hall 104, of Lexington, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, September 1st, 2025. She was born to Ernest and Agnes (Leutz) Bauer on September 28, 1920, on Bauer Still North of Lexington, Texas. She was baptized in the Lexington Methodist Episcopal Church- North three weeks later by Rev. Makowski. At age 13 she was confirmed in that church by Rev. Schlechte. Lorene attended school in Lexington. Upon graduating in 1939 she attended Southwest Texas State Teachers College in San Marcus, North Texas State, earning a degree in education. For one year Lorene taught in Copperas Cove just across the road from Ft. Hood. The next year she moved to Port Arthur where she taught for 25 years before retiring in 1970. Lorene and William Hilton Hall were united in marriage in the Lexington United Methodist Church on February 24, 1951, With Rev. Elley and Rev. Risinger officiating. To this union was born one daughter, Lynnette Marie. Lorene was preceded in death by her Parents; Sister Evelyn Brisco and her husband, Elmer; Husband, Hilton, daughter, Lynnette and son-in-law, John H Kesseler of Houston. She is survived by her nephew, Britt Brisco and wife, Doris of Memphis as well as numerous cousins, their children and grand-children and also many special friends.
