We pause today to shine a light on the life of Christine Finck, a woman whose laughter was infectious and whose heart held an abundance of love for others. Today, as we remember Christine, the world seems a little less bright without her funny, thoughtful, generous, and smart spirit.
Christine carried the unique ability to find humor in the simplest of things, to make the ordinary moments unforgettable. Her laughter was a melody that played in the hearts of all who knew her. Albert Einstein once said, "Creativity is intelligence having fun," and Christine embodied this fully. Her quick wit and smart mind brought joy and delight to all those around her, making every encounter a memorable one. She had many friends and close ones including Zoe, Amy and Beverly who miss her dearly. She loved to travel and spoke several languages fluently.
Thoughtful in every sense of the word, Christine was always the first to lend a helping hand, the first to offer a comforting word, and the first to make you feel seen and heard. Her generous spirit was evident in her dedication to various charities. She believed in the power of giving, in the transformation that can happen when one person decides to make a difference. She lived by the words of Winston Churchill, who famously declared, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
As we celebrate Christine's life, we invite you to share your memories, anecdotes, and photos of her on the memorial page. Let us keep her spirit alive, one story, one laugh, one act of generosity at a time. After all, as Christine often reminded us, "Life's truest happiness is found in the moments we make for others."
