Christine Garrett “Cricket” July 22, 1948 to October 31, 2025
Born to the late William Luther & Gustie House.Known to family as “Cricket”
Chris was married to her husband Billy E. Garrett for 49 years.They established Garrett’s Aluminum Co. She retired after 30 years, then ventured to Walmart Deli where she worked for over 15 years. Chris never met a stranger; she loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. Outdoors is whereshe loved to be, sitting on the front porch with her Pink Lemonade and a cigarette.
She breathed each breath for her, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Family was her only priority.
Many will remember Chris as huge University of Kentucky Fan “Go Cats”
Preceded in death by her Husband, Billy E. Garrett, Stepson, Dennis E. Garrett, Sister, Isabell Phelps, Brothers, Jay House, Dewayne House, and Hayward House.
Survived by her loving daughter, Kanzady Gail Wierwille (James) Stepson, Billy Ray Garrett (Darlene) Sister, Elizabeth Vincent, and Brother Shelton House, Grandchildren, Randy Pennoyer (Kate), Tabitha Pennoyer (Cody), and William J. Pennoyer III “Billy” 6 Great Grandchildren. Loving Nieces, Frieda Scott (Randall), Wilma Parker (Wayne), Great Niece, Melissa Barrow (Matt), Great Nephew, Jonthan McGrew (Amanda), 3 Great Great Nephews and 2 Great Great Nieces.
Chris so, loved and cherished her family in Florida, Niece, Kimberly Wallace, Nephews, Douglas Lambert, and Joseph Garrett.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
