Christine Kaiser, 58, of Hewitt is now our guardian angel. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, after a 6-year battle with cancer surrounded by family.
A memorial service and visitation will be on Friday, January 20 at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Marshfield. Visitation will be from 8:30 in the morning to 11:30am, followed by a service at 11:30am.
Christine was born on September 27, 1964, to Patricia and Ronald Polster. She attended school at St. Joseph Catholic Grade School in Stratford and graduated from Stratford High School in 1982. She attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Mid-State Technical College, and graduated from North Central Technical College in 1986 with an Associate Degree in Data Processing. Christine then started work at Figi's Inc. in 1986 and worked there until 1993. After which, she became a Substitute Teacher Assistant and then a Special Education Teacher Assistant with the Marshfield School District until 2015. She then worked at Kohl's as a Point-of-Sale Associate until 2018, when she retired due to health concerns.
On March 11, 1989, Christine and Jeffrey Kaiser were united in Marriage. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Nicholas and Melissa. Christine was very proud of her children and loved going to all their school and sporting events. Christine especially cherished the times antiquing and shopping with her daughter, Melissa, who has high functioning Autism.
Christine was a very special person and will be missed immensely by her family and friends. She was always baking and taking treats to the places she worked, for the people at the Marshfield Medical Center that provide labs and treatments, and for family get togethers, outings, hunting, and fishing trips. Muffins were a particular baking specialty for Christine.
Christine volunteered with the Boy Scouts for many years and after being diagnosed with cancer she started working with Crafters for a Cause to knit and sew items for other people with cancer. Over a hundred cancer patients received warming caps handmade by Christine. When Covid hit, Christine spent many hours cutting material and sewing face masks to be donated.
Christine is survived by her husband Jeff, son Nicholas, and daughter Melissa. Mother Patricia Polster, Brother Harold (Kim), their children Kyle (Sidney) and Megan, Brother David (Janeane), their children Mike, Amber (Patrick), Takala (Cody), and Brother Mark (Leah), their children Max and John. She was predeceased by her father Ronald Polster.

Cousin Christine is the kindest most gentle person I know. She never gave up the fight to live. She is now with her Heavenly Father and her earthly Father Uncle Ronnie in heaven.
