Christine Grace Mullins, born April 26, 1965, wonderful wife, marvelous mother, and faithful friend was called home to be with Jesus on April 1, 2024, while surrounded by her family and dear friends.
Chris is survived by her husband, Bryan Mullins, and son Joshua, brother Brian Roland and his wife Traci, brother Danny Roland and his wife Kellie, niece Ashley Roland, nephew Cody Roland and his wife Mallory, nephew Andrew Roland, great niece Melody Roland and a
cornucopia of friends and former students influenced by her in her many years of being a classroom teacher.
She is preceded in death by her parents Francis Andrew Roland and Mary Ann Roland, sister Coleen Francis Roland and niece Riley Caitlin Roland. Chris was born in Menomonie Wisconsin and lived in the Dallas area for over 45 years with most of that time being spent in
Red Oak.
Chris was a tremendously gifted teacher who spent her career teaching students spending a few years in private schools but most of her career split between the Lancaster and Red Oak Independent School Districts. After thirty-three years she retired in 2021 and she decided to get a
desk job at SAGU. This lasted of all about a couple months before her passion for teaching sent her right back into education with K12 Stride where she spent the next three years right up until her passing teaching online full time. Never one to rest on her laurels, she became the team
leader for the 8th grade ELA team for K12 in second year there and was named Teacher of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year. She loved her students and changed countless lives as an educator. Not only did she love teaching her students, but she also loved mentoring and working
with newer teachers. At the drop of a hat, she would drop everything to help a student or fellow teacher.
When not working, Chris was quite a devoted wife and mother. No matter the occasion she always made sure her husband and son, "the boys" are she would refer to them, were taken care of. To Chris, nothing mattered more than her family. She cherished every member of her family and would move the mountains for any of them.
While Chris will be greatly missed by all who knew her, we can rejoice knowing that she is healed and in the loving embrace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am so very sorry for your precious loss. May God who is " close to the broken-hearted " provide comfort to your family in the days ahead.

Chris was a mentor and friend. She was a teammate my first year to teach in 1994. We worked together for several years and she was a bridesmaid in my wedding. She was a wonderful person. I am so thankful that God put her in my life.
