Mr. Christopher “Chris” Apodaca passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2023, at his home at the age of 38 years old.
Christopher is preceded in death by his brother Michael Anthony Garcia and by his grandmother Lucy Aragon. Christopher is survived by his longtime girlfriend Valerie Parraz, his mother Pamela Y. Apodaca and his father Michael A. Apodaca of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, his brother Michael D. Apodaca of Rio Rancho, NM, his sister Celina S. Apodaca of Albuquerque, NM, his brother Julian J. Apodaca of Rio Rancho, NM, his grandmother Mary L. Garcia and grandfather William Z. Garcia of Rio Rancho, NM, his uncle Albert Garcia of Albuquerque, NM, his aunt Marissa Sanchez and her family of Albuquerque, NM, his aunt Judi Sena and her family of Albuquerque, NM, his uncle William Garcia and family of Los Lunas, NM, his aunt Viola Aragon and her family of Rio Rancho, NM, his uncle John Humphrey and his wife Dale of Rio Rancho, NM, his uncle Fred Bazan and his family of Albuquerque, NM, and by his aunt Lisa Cochrane and family of Rio Rancho, NM. Christopher is also survived by many more aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, great friends, and great aunts and uncles.
Christopher was born on Thursday, October 4th, 1984, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Pamela Yvonne Garcia and Michael Anthony Apodaca. He attended Rio Rancho High School and graduated with his Diploma in 2003. Christopher attended Central New Mexico Community College and graduated with an Associates Degree as an Intermediate EMT. Christopher was employed by Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital for over 10 years and was employed by Vitamin World for two years. Chris loved scary movies, comedies, and his guns. Chris was a great artist and body builder. He also loved and leaves behind his dogs, Caesar, and Riot.
A Visitation will take place on Friday, July 21st, 2023, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Sara Chapel, located at 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124. Following the Visitation, a Celebration of Life will begin at 7:30PM at the Apodaca home, located at 1532 34th Circle SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124.
