Christopher Dwayne Authement

Christopher Dwayne Authement, age 54, passed away on March 12, 2025.
Chris was born July 11, 1970, in Creole, Louisiana to Vanessa Authement Davidson and Carroll LaBove. He grew up playing sports and graduated from South Cameron High School in 1988. After high school, he served his country in the United States Air Force from 1988 to 1992. During that time, he was stationed in Oklahoma City, Spain, and Panama. Following his military service, he began his 30-year career at Northrop Gruman. His title was Site Manager, but he was much more than that. He was known for his hard work, leadership, dedication, and loyalty.
Chris was a son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and the ultimate friend. If he met you once he called you a friend, and his friends were considered family. He was also an amazing cook – a skill he was passionate about and loved sharing with his family and friends. Some of the things he enjoyed were singing karaoke and traveling with his loved ones – especially cherishing any time spent at Toledo Bend. Chris was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. You could always find him cheering on his favorite sports teams: the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints.
Chris will always be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and love for his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Daniel Davidson; brother, Daniel Davidson II (Bee); maternal grandparents, Weldon & Maria Authement; and paternal grandparents, William & Marie Davidson and Joe & Taddy LaBove.
Chris leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 20 years, Lisa Drew Authement;
sons, Bradford Fulton (Tracy), Chase Authement, and Alexander Authement;
daughters, Ashley Authement, Kristen Authement and Jadyn Authement;
mother, Vanessa Authement Davidson;
father, Carroll LaBove;
brothers, Brent LaBove, Jarod Davidson, and Paul Davidson (Heather);
sisters, Christine Adams (Mike), Tara Miller (Troy), and Tressie LaBove;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Sherry Marze, Dean Piver, and Cindy Williams;
eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter whom he cherished deeply, Hallie;
and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A private memorial service will be held by his family and friends.
