Christopher P. Cody, 53 of Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Westminster, MD passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Chambersburg Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 19, 1970 in Chambersburg to Carol A. (Lynch) and William F. Cody, Sr.
He is survived by his mother Carol Cody and her partner Leroy Stouffer; his brothers Dan Cody and wife, Angie, Matt Cody and wife, Amy, Jeff Cody, Tim Cody and wife Jo Anne; his aunt Patty Lynch; and his loving nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, William Cody; and sister-in-law Cindy Cody.
Chris was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He was the youngest of six brothers and was known for his wit and sense of humor. He had a kind heart and loved children. He worked for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at BWI for over 20 years and earned a reputation for being Superman due to his dependability and dedication. He developed a love and skill for art and painting and enjoyed sharing his gifts and talents with others. Chris loved his family and enjoyed reunions at Rehoboth Beach with extended family.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2024 in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Online condolences may be expressed at geiselfuneralhome.com.
