Christopher J. Crafton, 65, of Silverwood died Wednesday, December 4, 2025 in Courtney Manor, Bad Axe. He was born March 8, 1960 in Detroit to George and Margaret (Lickert) Crafton. He was married to Marie Lucille Lennox.
Christopher graduated from Ferndale High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and junior mechanic for the city of Pleasant Ridge Department of Public Works for sixteen years. Later, Christopher also owned and operated a landscaping business. Any opportunity he got to ride his motorcycle, he truly enjoyed. Christopher was fond of the company of his cats and spending time visiting with his friends. His hobbies included feeding the birds, planting trees and flowers, and working in his yard and garage.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Marie; daughters: Sabrina (Tim) Hunter, Elizabeth Crafton, Ruth (Aaron) Weld, Trisha Marker; grandchildren: Ashley, Ryan, Gavin, Liam, Quinn, Isabelle, Autumn, Winter, Lindsey, Rylee.
Visitation held 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston. Interment will be in Dayton Center Cemetery, Mayville.
