Christopher A Daugherity, 46, passed away on July 20, 2022. Chris was born on August 20, 1975 in Vincennes and he is the son of Thomas and Janet (Coleman) Daugherity. In 2003, he married Jennifer English and have two sons Dylan and Christian Daugherity that they are so proud of.
Chris attended Lincoln High School and graduated from Rivet High School. He was the owner of Daugherity Auction where he was a third-generation auctioneer. He had owned Sundown Productions where he enjoyed being a DJ for many years, and also has worked at Good Samaritan Hospital for 10 years in the surgery department. Chris was proud of the fact that he coached YMCA basketball and Rivet track for 3 years where he loved teaching the students how to better themselves. Collecting Disney memorabilia and making memories at Disney World was sure to bring a smile to Chris's face. He loved anything Disney and especially enjoyed taking Dylan and Christian there.
Chris is survived by his parents, Thomas and Janet; sister, Brooke (Kyle) Williams; father and mother in law, Richard and Marilyn English; brother in law, Jason English; nephews, Jared Williams, Jaxon Williams, and Foster English; and niece, Lillian English.
Chris is preceded in death by his uncle Ralph Colman Jr; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Lillian Coleman; and paternal grandparents, George Rogers and Rita Daugherity.
Visitation for Chris will be Monday, July 25, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. There will be a private service at a later date. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Chris.
