Christopher Thomas Gallagher

Christopher (Chris) Gallagher of Bradenton, Florida, peacefully passed away on May 10, 2025. Chris, a Bradenton native, was born October 3, 1961, to Charles and Joan (Snyder) Gallagher. Chris graduated from Bayshore High School with Class of 1978.
In Chris' youth, he helped out in his grandfather's lumber company. This inspired him to work in construction with many local contractors throughout Bradenton area. Eventually, Chris became self-employed subcontractor. He had a big heart and was always willing to help his friends in need with handyman work. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nephew Austin, reading books and having drinks with his buddies.
Chris is survived by his father, Charles Gallagher; stepmother, Inez Gallagher; brother, Mike Gallagher; brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith; nephew, Austin Gallagher; niece, Micah Gallagher; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Smith; mother, Joan (Snyder) Slobodzian; stepfather, Leon Slobodzian; stepbrother; Leon Slobodzian Jr.; grandparents and his beloved Pomeranian, Snoop Dog.
Cremation is handled by Brown and Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida, 34209. A private celebration of life gathering will be held later.
